The goal of this national survey is to determine the top tourist destinations in five areas: adventure, nature, wildlife, spirituality, and cultural heritage. Voters can select their preferred tourism destinations under the “others” category, which aids in the discovery of uncharted territory. In order to enable the government to distribute funds and construct infrastructure around the state’s main attraction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the project in March.
In order to guarantee their longevity and foster awareness of lesser-known tourist locations for upcoming generations, the government is encouraging the preservation of cultural landmarks and customs.
