Indian cuisine is rich, diverse and nutritious and that’s the reason why it has many fans from across the globe. After former Australian PM Scott Morrison expressed his love for samosas, now, we have delicious news for you. Former Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has a special love affair with Indian cuisine. The longest-serving prime minister of Israel met his future wife, Sara, on their first date at an Indian restaurant.

Israeli PM Netanyahu Adores Chicken Tikka

Reena Pushkarna, the owner of Tandoori Tel Aviv revealed to news agencies that PM Netanyahu first arrived at the posh Indian restaurant for a date with his now-wife, Sara. Seated on Table 8, Indian food certainly played cupid for the couple who are now happily married. Infact, to date, PM Netanyahu continues ordering Indian food from Tandoori Tel Aviv.

His favourite dish is hands-down Tandoori Chicken. Reena further added that he loves butter chicken gravy, which the restaurant makes in tikka masala style. He adores everything grilled. But Benjamin Netanyahu and Sara Netanyahu dislike coriander. He also relishes Kadai Chicken apart from Butter Chicken.

He Treated PM Modi At His Favourite Indian Restaurant In Israel

The 73-year-old Israeli leader even fondly recollected his first foray into Indian cuisine with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They bonded over Indian food. He also asked his favourite Indian restaurant, Tandoori Tel Aviv to prepare a special Indian platter for PM Modi during his visit to Israel.
