Nestled only about a 4-hour bus-ride from Kolkata, Digha is a favourite short-getaway location to explore. All you need is 2-3 days and you can explore all the touristy locations of this beach town and even some hidden ones. Summer holidays are a peak season to travel here and the destination is jam-packed with visitors from different parts of West Bengal. In between all the crowd, if you want to experience some serenity and explore a much cleaner beach, you surely need to head to Mohana beach.

Surrounded by magnificent natural beauty and calmness, this beautiful beach is a must-visit in Digha. The famous Old Digha Beach and New Digha Beach are always crowded with thousands of visitors. How To Travel To Mohana?

Catch a toto (a public transport facility) to reach this place. You can get a ride from most places in Digha. If you are taking a toto from New Digha Beach market, it will take you only 15 minutes to reach Mohana. The journey is very scenic as well as you will pass across Shankarpur beach and some touristy attractions.

There are not many things to do here. Spending about 2-3 hours is enough to enjoy a spectacular time at Mohana, far away from the noise and crowd. If you love shopping, then you are in for a treat here.

Before entering the beach, you need to cross a small market. This is the best place if you want to buy different kinds of raw dishes. If you love seafood and have proper facilities to carry, you are surely about to shop for a lot of fish from here.

If you love kulfi, rabdi, or both, make sure to relish the yummiest rabdi kulfi here. Apart from these, there are also a few small stalls selling tea, shankh, shankha, and things made using conch shells.
