Whether you have symptoms or not, or if you need a Covid test for travel, you can test for Covid-19 using a fast lateral flow (antigen) test in addition to PCR assays. (Before travelling, always check a country’s admittance restrictions to be sure this is correct.) While PCR testing is widely available in Dubai, quick antigen tests are not. Fast antigen tests are less expensive and can be performed at home. While the results can be obtained in 15 to 30 minutes, they are not as precise as PCR test results. Aster Pharmacy offers Biospeedia Covid-19 rapid antigen tests in-store and online. 2. Community Pharmacy
Antigen testing for Panbio and Flowflex Covid-19 is offered at Community Pharmacy for Dhs40 per test or Dhs150 for a family pack of four Panbio tests. Community Pharmacy has sites throughout the emirate, including Motor City, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai Marina, and Wafi, and the self-administered lateral flow test kits come with everything you need to complete an at-home test.

3. Boots
The Panbio rapid antigen test is available in single and family packs at several Boots locations in Dubai, including Community Pharmacy. The at-home tests are offered for the same price as Community Pharmacy at select Boots locations – AED 40 for one and AED 150 for a bundle of four. So far, we’ve seen them at the Mall of the Emirates and the Springs Souk.
