This year, Singapore is finally coming back with the Singapore F1 Grand Prix after a long hiatus. With this exciting night race, the country is in full swing to revive the tourism industry.
Singapore Is Finally Hosting Singapore F1 Grand Prix!
Formula 1 fans are excited and over the moon for the race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Marina Bay. It is starting from 30 September to 2 October 2 and with this, Singapore is marking its grand entry to host such prestigious and massive events again post the COVID-19 pandemic. It can be highly expected that fans from different corners of the world will travel here to witness the street circuit night race.

The demand is skyrocketing and it can be assumed what a successful event this is going to be with lakhs of crowds cheering and enjoying the races. The last time the country hosted Singapore F1 Grand Prix was in 2019. Around 268,000 spectators attended this Formula 1 event back then. And with the halt of the event in 2020 and 2021, the demand of F1 fans to watch the live event of Formula 1 is bound to surge.

The Country Is Attracting More Indian Tourists Everyday!
According to a report by ANI, 40% of this year’s audience is flying from overseas countries. As Indians are traveling to Singapore in humongous numbers now, it is expected that a great number of these foreign tourists to the Grand Prix are coming from India. Currently, Indian tourists hold the second position to travel to Singapore the most. Numbers state that 2.96 million tourists travelled here till August 2022 and about 378,490 visitors out of 2.96 million are from India.

The Tourism Industry Is Reviving In Singapore
Right after Singapore lifted travel restrictions and positive cases of COVID-19 started decreasing, globetrotters started travelling to Singapore. The past months of July and August saw a major boost in foreign visitors. During this time, about 725,000 tourists from overseas flew to Singapore every month. Interestingly, this is the most number of visitors till now. The tourism sector is running smoothly at a great speed presently and it is expected that it might touch 6 million tourists by the end of 2022.
