HaHaHouse is not your average museum. It’s a theme-entertainment centre designed to tickle your funny bone from the moment you step in. Visitors are greeted by a puff of white smoke and then the real fun begins. The museum is divided into eight interactive zones, each designed to bring out different types of humour.

Ever wanted to join a rubber chicken choir? Here, the chickens belt out hits like ABBA’s Dancing Queen! Fancy some karaoke with distorted voices that will leave you in stitches? You’ve got it! Or maybe you want to try your hand at a Sumo wrestling arena, but with a twist; you’ll be fighting in oversized costumes! Every exhibit turns the space into a playground for adults and children. And don’t forget to press the special button upon entering, where you’ll be ‘disinfected from negativity.’

But HaHaHouse isn’t all about the fun and games. It also has a rich educational side that explores the history of humour. Through interactive displays and installations, you’ll learn about different humour styles, from slapstick to dark humour, satire, and even toilet humour. And yes, get ready to laugh at some sharp one-liners, like this classic from comedian Joan Rivers: ‘I’ve had so much plastic surgery; when I die, they will donate my body to Tupperware.’

The vision for this laughter-filled museum came from Andrea Golubic, a woman whose mission is to heal through humour. Andrea had the idea during the pandemic. Inspired by her own childhood memories of carefree laughter, the museum was born as a place where people of all ages could return to their inner child and laugh freely.

The museum’s quirky guide, Mr. H, is anything but cheerful. A cynic, sarcastic, and ironic character, he serves as the perfect contrast to the joy-filled atmosphere of the museum. He takes visitors on a hilarious journey, proving that humour can come from even the most unexpected sources.

HaHaHouse is perfect for a family outing, a unique and fun-filled date, or a group event. Whether you’re laughing your way through the rubber chicken choir or learning about the evolution of humour, every corner of the museum offers something exciting.

So, if you’re looking to take a break from daily life and its monotony, HaHaHouse is the perfect place. It’s a celebration of all the silly, wonderful things that make life worth living.
