This time, World Wide Fund (WWF) India has announced Dulquer Salmaan as the Ambassador for the Nature Guardian Programme. What does this mean? Read on to know!

Dulquer Salmaan Is Now WWF-India’s Nature Guardian Ambassador

WWF-India took to its Instagram page to announce that actor Dulquer Salmaan has been named the Ambassador for the Nature Guardian Programme. In the Instagram post, the renowned body goes on to reveal more about this coveted programme. In their words, the Nature Guardian Programme brings together change-makers, business leaders and entrepreneurs who can play a major role in protecting the environment.

As a Nature Guardian, one supports WWF-India’s crucial causes. WWF-India goes on to state that they look forward to Dulquer Salmaan’s support to build a sustainable future. And welcomed him aboard. According to the WWF-India website, Dulquer Salmaan stated that the organisation is a pioneer in raising awareness towards building a healthier and greener earth. He called this a need of the hour.

The actor further calls this an “enriching opportunity” for himself to work towards this goal and contribute his bit for environmental conservation. Through this initiative, Dulquer Salmaan looks forward to collaborating with like-minded philanthropists and environmental experts, sharing a common goal to protect the planet’s resources. Dulquer, further states that it is incredibly heartening for him to witness the unwavering dedication and passionate commitment of WWF-India’s team to protect and preserve the planet.

According to the website, a Nature Guardian makes a minimum annual donation of ₹1 lakh to support conservation programmes. WWF-India will honour you with a donor badge, a thank you letter from the WWF India CEO and a citation to mark your contribution. You can be part of field visits and even enjoy an annual dinner.
