The user Navin Kabra or @NGKabra took to X to share how fascinating it was that the best tiramisu in Pune was from one of Pune’s top 5-star restaurants (JW Marriott). It is made by a chef who’s from Italy. The second best was in a tiny shop on Baner Road (Rihla’s) by an engineer who quit his job to start a bakery and got a culinary degree on the side.

This post blew up on the platform and started this discussion. It now stands at over 159 shares and 49 comments. Over 600 accounts have saved it, probably to use it the next time they’re craving tiramisu in Pune! Let’s take a look at some of the recommendations in the comments.

Pune’s Favourite Tiramisus

Rihla, the bakery that has already been mentioned by Navin has quite a strong fan following! This user says that along with tiramisu, they have the best gelato, too. Neel Patil and Chirayu Desai, who met in hospitality school and became friends because they both loved desserts, are the owners of the chef-driven bakery Rihla. Rihla is also evidence of their passion for making beautiful delicacies. These two are experienced chefs who enjoy pushing themselves by developing new flavours.

Another user favourite is Dohiti in Viman Nagar, a suburb of Pune. This user talks about the chef who has worked in Europe, too. The tiramisu is a special delicacy, only made on the weekends, according to this user.

Another recommendation is for Buon Cibo, in Baner. Navin, the reason for this discussion replies saying that he too, loves this restaurant. He tells Swaraj, the commenter that they never get a chance to eat dessert here because of how good the mains are!

After all these recommendations flooded in, Navin now has made a compiled list for the ease of anyone looking to eat good tiramisu in the city.
