Yikes! Passenger’s Video Shows Tap Water In Carnival Cruise Stains White Towel Brown

Across the world, many people love cruising for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. But for passengers onboard the Carnival Paradise, a Florida-based cruise, what was supposed to be a stress-free holiday turned into a worrying experience over the ship’s water. A passenger posted a video that went viral, showing tap water on the ship turning a clean white towel brown in seconds. Yikes! Scroll down to see what happened next!

Tap Water In Cruise Turns White Towel Into Brown

A video shared by Derrick Evan (@DerrickEvans4WV) shows a passenger testing tap water on the ship, which looks dirty. He put a clean white towel under the running water, and it turned brown within seconds. To check again, he used a second towel, which also got stained right away. The video made people question whether the water on the ship was safe and clean.

Passengers also said they felt sick during the cruise. Some reported illnesses with no clear reason, and others noticed bad smells throughout the ship. These issues are worrying because cruise ships must follow strict health and safety rules, especially for drinking water.

Netizens React To The Post

The post quickly went viral, and many netizens are sharing their thoughts and experiences. In our view, experiences like this can wash away all the excitement.

One user wrote, “I was forced to go on cruise ships as a teen and young adult with my family. The first one was mid-tier, and the other two had middle-upper/upper-class amenities. Out of the three I’ve been on, two had sewage backups mid-trip that caused faeces-contaminated water to flood entire floors where everyone gathered for dinner and entertainment—they expected customers to carefully slush through it like it was no big deal. Let’s just say the smell alone made many people throw up the second time.”

Another netizen commented, “I went on a Carnival Cruise years ago. Never ever again!”

One user added, “Dude, that’s disgusting AF!”

Another X user asked, “Is this common on cruise ships? What could it be?”
