You Can Now Enter Arunachal Pradesh With Ease, Govt Launches Exclusive Portal For Tourists

Arunachal Pradesh, located in the extreme northeastern part of India, has now introduced a faster and easier way for tourists to travel. The government has launched an e-portal where tourists can issue their ILP passes. Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu announced, “The eILP launched today is a great step to serve exclusively the tourists and smoothen their entry to the state. It will ease the process of obtaining ILP. There would be no waiting period for tourist eILP. Application, approval process is simplified.”

Arunachal Pradesh Launches e-ILP Portal For Tourists

The Chief Minister took to Twitter to announce the eILP portal. The state has ID card-based registrations with a self-registration, and a QR-based digital ILP will be issued. The minister also informed that with the introduction of this digital system, the movement of tourists would become more convenient and faster.

eILP & AP Tourism

Arunachal Pradesh has the Inner Line Permit system, wherein tourists have to issue the same in order to enter the state or explore the places there. Further, the eILP system will further help the checking systems and make the system faster. Well, Arunachal Pradesh is one of the states in the northeast that attracts many tourists for its rich flora and fauna. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated a new airport in the state, making it much more accessible for tourists to be there.
