Dubai is a paradise for waterfront activities. From beach clubs to cafes, you can pamper yourself with a plethora of options available. Add one more new option to that list. Dubai Deira Islands is home to new free abra rides. Free rides have been promised for guests in the first five months. This project is a cooperation between Nakheel and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Free Abra Rides To The Deira Islands
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only, the 20-minute boat ride. Find the ride operating from 6 pm to 10 pm. Souk Al Marfa’s new station provides direct service to and from Dubai Old Souq, Deira Old Souq, and Al Ghubaiba. A 25-minute abra voyage between 5 pm and 10 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 10 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with a break between noon and 5 pm, will take you to the waterfront souq and marketplace.

Tourism Benefits Due To This New Activity
The Deira Corniche, Deira Old Souq, Dubai Creek, and the Gold Souq will all be visible from the free abra rides and boat rides. More than 900 stores, including carpets, lighting, and spices, are located in Souk Al Marfa. We expect 200 new stores to open soon. This Souk is one of Dubai’s most important shopping and entertainment destinations. This initiative intends to improve the service model. It will also help Dubai achieve its strategic goal of increasing its overall standard of living.
Four man-made islands make up the 15.3-square-kilometre Deira Islands. The project settles in Dubai’s Deira neighbourhood. It has extended Dubai’s coastline by 40 kilometres, including 21 kilometres of beachfront. Celebrating and integrating the city’s newest island development with Dubai’s oldest and most historic commerce district. By 2030, you will be able to view this full maritime transportation strategy.
