On July 9. Youtuber Gaurav Taneja, a Youtuber, nutritionist and commercial pilot from Noida, invited his fans to celebrate his birthday for an hour at Noida Railway Station. Hundreds of fans gathered at Noida’s Sector 51 Metro Station on Aqua Line to celebrate the influencer’s birthday. In violation of Section 144 of the CrPC, Gaurav was arrested. But the influencer paid a ₹38,000 penalty and was later given permission to celebrate his birthday in the coach. Read on to know more.
Gaurav Taneja Invited Fans To Celebrate Birthday In Noida Metro Station
Gaurav Taneja and his wife Ritu Rathee Taneja had reportedly booked a metro coach in Noida metro by paying a whopping ₹60,000 to Noida Metro Rail Corporation. The couple wanted to celebrate Gaurav Taneja’s birthday with his fans. They took to their respective social media accounts to invite his fans to celebrate his birthday. By 3:30 pm on July 9, a huge crowd gathered. There was a traffic jam outside Noida Sector 51 metro station.

Arrested For Causing Commotion & Later Given Permission
Office goers and commuters had a tough time due to the traffic and crowd at the Aqua Line metro station. The police arrested Gaurav Taneja and booked him under Section 188 and Section 144 of CrPC. Later, he was released on bail after he paid a hefty fine of ₹38,000. Gaurav was also given permission to celebrate his birthday in a metro coach from 2 pm to 3 pm. But this could be one of the last celebrations in the metro station, as NMRC might change the fate of birthday celebrations and other entertainment events at the metro station, following this incident.
