Ahead of the heavy influx of New Year’s Eve orders, the Zomato CEO was slammed for sharing his “war room” pictures. The food delivery aggregator expected increased pressure on its servers so it worked on this to ensure the seamless flow of food deliveries across India.

An X user asked the CEO in the comments section about what was the role of all his employees. The X user questions if the Zomato CEO needs so many engineers amid cloud auto-scaling and other technologies. Another Netizen said that it wasn’t an achievement. But it shows that the product is not at par as it involves people working on a weekend. Another X user slammed the startup for setting a bad precedent for the rest of the entrepreneurs and senior leaders in India. Furthermore, the Netizen highlighted that many tech workers are already suffering from health issues due to a lack of work-life balance and stress.

Furthermore, the person asked the Zomato CEO how will he ensure that their family wasn’t missing out on parties. “It’s very sad to work for someone else’s party when one cannot enjoy”, quipped the X user.
