Badly hungry and got nothing delicious in your kitchen? Worry not, now Zomato will deliver your favourite dishes to the doorstep in record 10 minutes, that too with reduced prices. As per reports, the founder of the food delivery startup, Deepinder Goyal, feels that the 30-minute average delivery time of Zomato is a bit too long. The company is thus working on launching Zomato Instant to deliver food in 10 minutes. Zomato Instant will be introduced first in Gurgaon from April. Then it will gradually come up in other major cities too. Read on to know more.

How Will The 10-Minute Model Of Zomato Instant Work?

  1. Zomato will set up finishing stations near clusters with high customer demand.
  2. The company will adopt algorithms to identify dish-level demands.
  3. The finishing stations will comprise around 20 to 30 high demand and bestseller dishes, which will be picked on the basis of definiteness from algorithms.
  4. The stations will have in-station robotics to provide fresh, hot food on time.
  5. The food items ordered via Zomato Instant will be cheaper.

Zomato Instant Will Be First Launched In Gurgaon

Zomato is taking up this step to stay ahead in the competitive market and meet the standards of the fastest grocery delivery startups like Blinkit and Zepto. The 10-minute delivery service will first come up in Gurgaon with four finishing stations catering to the food demands. Gurgaon is a flourishing commercial hub. Apart from families, a large number of bachelors and youngsters stay in Gurgaon for work purposes. Thus, the instant model is anticipated to pick up at a fast rate in Gurgaon.
