Famously known as the paranthe wali gali, is now a legendary street food cuisine. They started a legacy that has continued for days and now becomes a legend whose past customers include the likes of Maharajah of Kashmir and even Prime Minister Nehru and his family. The paranthas are stuffed and then deep-fried in oil that turns the outsides brown and the steam produced helps cook the insides. The rabri, mava or khurchan are the standing out dishes that have a sweet filling inside besides their classics.

2. Natraj Dahi Bhalle Wala – It is known to be an iconic shop to eat at wherein it serves dahi bhallas with a secret ingredient of theirs which makes it a classic dish to try out when in Delhi. The chaat masala that they sprinkle on top of the dahi bhallas is known to have their copyrights and is the secret formula to their standing out dahi bhallas.

Old Famous Jalebiwala – It stands true to its name, the old famous jalebiwala is a shop that everyone knows and talks about – from describing the way its cooked to their reaction when they first tasted it. 4. Giani’s Di Hatti – If you have a sweet tooth, this is the place to be. Serving delicacies like rabri faluda, gajar halwa, badam halwa, shakes, lassi and flavoured milk this is a highly recommended place if you have a huge appetite and a stomach to fill it all in, especially that one shot of rabri faluda. The quality of food here is incomparable and it is crowded throughout the day.

Kulle Ki Chaat – Taking forward the concept of adding fruits in fast food, this kulle ki chaat is a dish that serves fruits topped with spices and chaat masala and chickpeas that are summer afresh and so healthy to gulp.
