Today, May 26, 2023, marks 17 years since the Aamir Khan-Kajol starter, Fanaa graced the movie screens. The Kunal Kohli directorial marked Aamir Khan’s first venture as an anti-hero. With soulful music, acting par excellence, and a unique story that tugged at our heartstrings, Fanna is a timeless movie. On the occasion of Fanna celebrating 17 years, Kajol shared an interesting anecdote about a deleted song from the movie that was shot in Poland.
Kajol Shares Never Before Heard Anecdote With Fanaa Celebrating 17 Years
Kajol took to her Instagram account to celebrate #17YearsOfFanaa. The actor shared a never-before-heard anecdote from the sets of the movie. She revealed that out of her “oh so many comebacks”, her character Zooni from Fanaa will always remain special. That’s just because she got to play herself in the film sans her glasses.

And since we, her fans loved her memories, Kajol shared yet another fond memory from the sets of the film. In her caption, the bubbly actress reveals that on the first day of the shoot for a song, Poland was -27 °C. Wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake, she had to bear the cold winds and the low temperatures for the shoot.

On the other hand, her co-star Aamir Khan wore a “nice thick jacket” which he bought himself from a local market just for the shoot. The actor cheekily admits that Aamir Khan’s face didn’t have the natural pain which she had on her “frozen face”. And that’s not all, the cherry on the top was that the entire song was scrapped and reshot when they returned to Mumbai. Kajol then used this anecdote to salute women and heroines across the world who do such things and much worse just to look good on screen.

Fans Demand To See Her With Aamir Khan Again
In no time her post went viral, garnering over 92,000 likes and many comments. Her fans appreciated Fanna and even called it one of their favourite films of all time.
