The first 56 stories of the building have been structurally finished, and the facade goes up to the thirteenth floor. Additionally, Wasl Tower will provide vistas of the Burj Khalifa and have a direct connection to the local metro stop.

The Covid-19 outbreak caused numerous projects to halt, including the one on which work had started in 2016. By the time it begins operations in 2024, over 5,500 labour workers will be a part of the construction. It will also share connectivity to the City walk with a bridge.
