On August 28, Larissa Borges passed away following a double cardiac arrest. She was already in a coma and receiving treatment for a previous heart attack, as the statement claimed. The New York Post said that Borges was admitted to the hospital on August 20 after experiencing a heart collapse while traveling in Gramado. After that, she fell into a coma and stayed there for a week as her family posted updates on her social media accounts.

A possible scenario put forth by deputy Gustavo Barcellos involved consuming drugs that had been combined with alcohol. A necropsy had been ordered for the deceased, according to Gustavo. He claimed that they would look through laboratory tests for any possible substances she may have eaten.
The policeman revealed that the influencer’s boyfriend had also testified.
