The Kachchh region in Gujarat woke up to an earthquake on the morning of the first day of February. An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude hit Kachchh. Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, the National Center for Seismology (@NCS_Earthquake) shared information about the quake reported today morning.

The earthquake of 4.1 magnitude jolted at 8:06 AM on Thursday. According to the information provided by the National Center for Seismology, the latitude of the quake was 24.27 and the longitude was 70.21. The tremors were recorded at a depth of 15 km.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:4.1, Occurred on 01-02-2024, 08:06:39 IST, Lat: 24.27 & Long: 70.21, Depth: 15 Km, Region: Kachchh Gujarat, India”, posted National Center for Seismology on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.

As of now, these are all the details about the natural disaster that are available. There are no updates about injuries or major damages in the region. Further information about the quake is awaited.

Another Quake Was Reported In Leh, Ladakh

It was on January 30, 2024, when Leh, Ladakh experienced an earthquake. It was of 3.4 magnitude. The earthquake jolted the affected place at 5:39 AM on Tuesday. According to the social media post by the National Center for Seismology, the latitude of the quake was 35.27 and the longitude was 75.40. The depth of the natural disaster was at 5 KM.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:3.4, Occurred on 30-01-2024, 05:39:56 IST, Lat: 35.27 & Long: 75.40, Depth: 5 Km, Region: Leh, Ladakh”, shared the National Center for Seismology on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.

These are all the necessary details available for the recent earthquake of 3.4 magnitude jolting in Leh, Ladakh.
