1. Bangalore Sreeraj Lassi

Tired after roaming in the by-lanes of Meena Bazaar in the humid Dubai summer? Beat the heat with a glass of thick, creamy lassi at Sreeraj Lassi. And, you don’t have to worry about your AED 10 budget. The lassi bar whips a list of creamy lassis, all under AED 10.  Enjoy a traditional serving of Matka Lassi or opt for a fruit lassi. You can pick from mango, grapes, pineapple, strawberry, anjeer, or dates- all for AED 8. And if you prefer something savory, try the salt lassi, pudina lassi, jeera lassi or the masala lassi- all for AED 6.

2. Sandwiches At Farsian Cafeteria

Ever had a sandwich for AED 3? Well, Meena Bazaar has a hidden gem that sells lip smacking aloo vada sandwich for just  AED 3. The sandwich is filled with potato vada which is then topped with a generous spread of mint chutney, served with a side of salad. Farisian Cafeteria in Meena Bazaar is known to be one of the oldest and most famous quick-bite shops in Dubai. The cafeteria was started by Mr. Farhad from Iran in 1980 who began selling samosa, falafel and potato vada/Tikki.

3. Pani Puri At Rangoli

Pani puri is one chat that we can never say no to. And, Rangoli in Meena Bazaar is super famous for pani puris. The small eatery sells over 100 plates a day and nails the flavour. A plate of pani puri will cost you AED 9 and each plate serves six puris. The puri is filled with moong, channa and sweet or spicy pani. It’s one of the most loved & famous Indian street food in India. In case you’re not a big fan of pani puri, try their Kachori, samosa, dhokla, mix pakora, aloo vada, or Masala Pav. All these dishes are priced under AED 10, so you can binge without burning a hole in your pocket.

4. Tandoori Chai At Hot Sip Cafe

No matter how hot or cold, there is one beverage without which the day just would not kick start. Yes, we are talking about the world favourite Chai! Go around Dubai and you will spot cars lining outside the side of the streets, for an inexpensive cup of pipping hot chai. While we can pick a dozen places that serve the best chai in Dubai, Hot Sip Cafe in Meena Bazaar is the only place in town which serves chai in an earthen clay pot called Kulhad.

Tandoori chai, as they call it is made using a clay pot, which is kept in a Tandoor for hours, after which chais is served in the same Kulhad. And now, who needs Tandoori chicken when you can get a steaming hot cup of Tandoori chai along with your favorite breakfast! Plus, the chai will just cost you AED 3.

5. Chips Sandwich At Al Halawa Cafeteria

A huge roll loaded with samosa, fries and veggies; grilled to perfection- we’re already drooling! And if you’re eager to bite into this divine combo, head to Al Halawa Cafeteria at Meena Bazaar.  The chips sandwich is priced at AED 8 and mind you, it’s huge and more than enough for one person.

6. Cheese Vada Pav At Al Rajwah

First on the list is one of Dubai’s favorite snacks. Located in the heart of Bur Dubai, this hidden gem serves a host of lip-smacking snacks, all under AED 20. However, their Cheese Vada Pav (AED 4) is all things yummy. It’s got cheese stuffed in the pav and is also topped with more cheese on the top. Can it get any better than this?
