1. Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruise Line cancelled all its February 2021 cruises. The cruises from Port Canaveral, Galveston and Miami have all been cancelled. And the inaugural sailing of the Mardis Gras has been postponed from February 6 to April 24. It also cancelled its previously planned sailing on the Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Sensation to 2022. Sailing suspensions differ by line and ship, with some of the cruises pushed all the way to 2022, it might be worth the wait. 2. Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises cancelled all its cruises till March 31, 2021. It also cancelled all cruises longer than 7 days in or out of the USA till November 1, 2021. It went on to also suspend its operations in and out of Japan till June 25. Princess Cruises’ Diamond ship was also one of the first cruises in the world to experience a COVID-19 outbreak. It ended up facing a quarantine order in Japan last February. Jan Swartz, the president of Princess Cruises stated “We are focused on preparing our ships to meet the CDC health and safety requirements for our eventual return to service.”
3. Disney Cruise Line
Disney Cruise Line, one of the favourite cruises for both children and adults thanks to its fun facilities is, unfortunately, a bearer of bad news. The famous cruise extended its cruise suspension till February 28, 2021. Disney Cruise line also cancelled its cruise on Disney Magic till February 25. And Disney Wonder and Disney Dream suspended its operations till February 26. While Disney Fantasy suspended its operations till February 27. Disney states on its website, “Guests who’ve booked their reservation through a travel agent should contact them directly with any questions.”

4. MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises has been forced to cancel its holiday cruises since the new COVID-19 safety measures in Italy overlap with the Christmas and New Year. In Italy, Costa Cruises also suspended its operations till January 6. MSC Cruises stated to USA Today, “The new measures include extensive restrictions on people’s mobility across the entire country, which would severely impact the ability of future guests — Italian residents as well as international travellers — to reach any of the ships’ embarkation ports in Italy.”
5. Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line cancelled all its cruises till February 28. It also cancelled some other sailings in March. And its other lines, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises have also cancelled its itineraries till the end of March 2021. So if you were planning on going on a gorgeous cruise the next year, you might have to postpone your plans. Across all its three cruise lines, many customers are choosing cash refunds than extra credits for future cruises. And this has put the famous cruise line in a sticky situation. But until it revives its operations, we’ve got to wait patiently.

6. Virgin Voyages
Virgin Voyages cancelled all its sailing on its first cruise, Scarlet Lady till May 8, 2021. It will restart operations for its cruise to depart from Miami on May 9. Florida-based cruise will go on a 5-day voyage to Cozumel and Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Tom McAplin, president and CEO of Virgin Voyages, stated to Fox News “In the meantime, we will continue to innovate our experience offering and work closely with our peers and health officials to keep cruising a safe and healthy way to travel.” While the cruise line prioritises on passenger safety, it’s time we also practice a little patience.
