Unlike some of Bombay’s previous limited editions, the added citrus here is noticeable. This gin is made from Murcian Fino lemons, mandarins, and sweet Navel oranges, and it has a balanced, bittersweet flavour. Moreover, it is similarly flamboyant and fruit-driven, allowing piney juniper to shine amid abundant lemon and orange aromas.

Introduced by Himmaleh Spirits, this spirit is said to be India’s first provincial dry Gin with an ABV of 42.8%. Kumaon & I is a 100% Himalayan gin with a unique blend of 11 regional botanicals. Expect a delectable combination of fruity aromas and a dash of spiciness, thanks to the addition of Timur, a berry-like Szechuan pepper. While coriander seeds and two separate citrus fruits Galgal, a native citrus variety, and Kinu, give the spirit sweet overtones. Expect fresh herbal, citrusy and spicy notes with a medium-dry long finish. Moreover, the stunning new alcohol bottle is all-white bottle, drawing inspiration from the traditions and culture of the Kumaon community.

5. Vale Of Paradise, Samsara


Homegrown gin brand, Samsara, has a new variant ‘Vale of Paradise,’.  The brand-new variation, which is part of the company’s New World Experiment collection, is made from botanicals obtained from all around Kashmir. The spirit comes with a lot of botanical notes–from Himalayan Juniper Berries, Hemp Seeds, and Rose Petals, to Cardamom and coriander–later, distilled with local Kashmiri kahwa and saffron ribbons.

6. Baagh Gin

If you enjoy citrus-forward gin, you might want to explore this new gin. Chhota Hazri Spirits, an Indian spirits manufacturer, produces Baagh. This newly launched gin combines the zinginess of Nagpur oranges with the crispiness of lime, as well as delicate notes of spice. This new gin has a citrusy note and is slightly sweet. Unlike other gins, this one tends to be quite smooth on the palate and even can be sipped well with just a block of ice.

7. Sherry Cask Aged Gin, Stranger & Sons

Stranger & Sons has been at the forefront of revolutionising and changing the Indian gin spirit landscape since its debut in 2018. Their latest variant is a Sherry Cask Aged Gin. Well, is it a gin or whisky? While we mostly take ageing in sherry casks to be about whiskies, this gin is unique boasting of warm and sweet flavour notes. Infused with cascara, the humble husk of coffee cherry and wild honey, it’s woody, spicy and sweet. The makers want you to sip this like a classic old-fashioned cocktail or best have it neat.

They have added a new variant, Hibiscus Ginger Mead. This one-of-a-kind mead, a mix of hibiscus and ginger, promises a delectable flavour.
