What Is It?
+91 India Calling is a premium casual restaurant in the cosy little lanes of Juhu. They promise to take your palate on a journey through India’s kitchens, one area code at a time. The concept has been created by Vipul D. Shah and Bipin Grewal – both avid travellers.
What To Eat?
The menu at +91 will bring back memories for everyone, be it Amritsari macchali or the Langar Wali Kali Daal. The menu also acts as your culinary map to explore the lesser known, but still delicious food like Cumin Bhutanese Red rice or the Gondhoraj nimbu duck.
What To Drink?
A +91-2366-Jambhul Karvand Martini (A Vengurla Special – Bengal Currant infused with Vodka, shaken with Java plum pulp and Juice) is an absolute must-try. Another refreshing dink is the +91-866-Avaki Mojito (A combination of Andhra pickle, Bacardi carta Blanca, mint leaves and lime).
The Interiors
The interiors are casual yet artsy with Indian art housed in the windows. We also loved the black and white television sets that nicely sets off the colorful thread art that acts as a beautiful backdrop for the art installations.
