Jagriti Yatra is an ambitious project that aims to connect the nation’s most ambitious and driven minds with each other. The train journey takes hundreds of youth on a countrywide journey where they get to meet and connect with some of the most influential people in the country. This helps the youth build connections that are useful and lasting. The trip unravels over the course of 15 days and covers around 8,000 kilometres.

Applicants have to first register themselves on the official website. However, before registration, they must first see if they’re eligible for the Jagriti Yatra. In order to be eligible for it, you must be at least 30 years of age or above.
The selection of a candidate is done based on the abilities they demonstrate rather than marks from any exams. This also means that the process is more merit-based and skill-based. After checking the eligibility, the applicants must first thoroughly and completely fill out the main application form.
This application form consists of multiple essay-type questions and answers. The applicants must also pay a nominal fee of ₹100 as registration fees. Their application will then be processed. If the candidature passes this first step, they will then be briefly interviewed via telephone to further verify their candidacy. Then, based on the application and the telephone interview, the jury will decide if you’re eligible to go for the Jagriti Yatra.
