A major road from Sharjah, leading to Dubai’s Global village will be closed temporarily. Visitors heading towards Global Village can now use the Arabian Ranches bridge.

The Dubai police have announced that a key road connecting Dubai and Sharjah will be closed temporarily. The tunnel from Sharjah which leads to Dubai’s Global village will be shut for a brief period. Meanwhile, traffic will be diverted via the Arabian Ranches bridge.

A water leak near a construction site on this route has been cited as the reason for the temporary shut down. Meanwhile, Global Village recently announced that the magnificent festival will be extended by a week. Dubai’s biggest annual fest will now be open to shopaholics until 13 April.

More than 150,000 people voted on social media for the global fest to extend its season this year. Global Village has agreed to the plea from visitors and has extended its stay by a week. Dubai’s biggest annual attraction will now be open to the public until 13 April

Global Village will be open to the public from Saturday to Wednesday (4:00 pm to until midnight) and Thursdays and Fridays (4:00 pm until 1:00 am).
