Sliding through the blue waters is always calming. Combine that with breathtaking vistas of Dubai Marina. It sounds like a plan isn’t it? RTA of Dubai has announced the introduction of two new maritime transport lines to help tourists and locals explore the city by water. The boat ride is between Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island. The trips are part of a strategy to connect tourist destinations.
New Dh5 Boat Ride
A Dhs5 boat ride connecting Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island is the first of the two. The terminal is near the Dubai Marina Mall and works all week in the evening. The service runs from 4.50 p.m. to 11.25 p.m. Monday through Friday. On weekends it’s 4.10 p.m. to 11.45 p.m. on weekends. UAE has changed their weekends, and now it’s Saturday and Sunday.
The other route links the residential districts of Dubai Creek Marina (Creek Harbour Station) with Dubai Festival City for just Dhs2. This service is only accessible from 4 pm to 11.55 pm on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
