A Subway Employee Was Tragically Shot For Putting Too Much Mayo On A Sandwich

According to authorities, a Subway employee was tragically shot, and another was gravely wounded following an altercation with a client “over too much mayo” on his sandwich. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at a downtown Atlanta gas station soon after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. 

What Actually Happened In Subway?

According to the owner, a customer grumbled about his sandwich, pulled out a gun, and began shooting. A shop manager returned fire. According to Atlanta Deputy Police Chief Charles Hampton Jr., both Subway employees who were shot were rushed to a hospital. One was declared dead, and the other remains in serious condition. 

The guy ordered a sandwich, but something went wrong with it, so he attacked two staff members.

Hampton also says that police detained a 36-year-old Atlanta man after receiving a tip from a community member. However, they are not publishing the victims’ or suspects’ identities since the crime is still under investigation.

Who All Got Injured? 

On Sunday, just after 6:30 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred at a Subway on Northside Drive. However,  a client reportedly shot and murdered a 26-year-old female worker over his dissatisfaction with the way his order was served. Another 24-year-old female employee was hurt and her treatment is going on at a nearby hospital. Another worker’s five-year-old kid was also inside the restaurant when the shooting happened, according to the owner of the Subway shop and the Atlanta Police Department.
