Ladakh Village Littered With Plastic Bottles; Team Laal Singh Chaddha Accused
The entire team of the Aamir Khan-starrer Laal Singh Chaddha ( the Indian adaptation of Forrest Gump) was on a 20-day visit to Ladakh. The team were shooting a crucial war scene at a location near Wakha village. However, Aamir Khan and his Laal Singh Chaddha team, including his ex-wife Kiran Rao and actor Naga Chaitanya, have now landed into some trouble after Jigmat Ladakhi, a Twitter user shared a video of the area polluted by plastic bottles. His caption implies that Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha has left a gift for the villagers of Wakha in Ladakh. He stated that Aamir Khan doesn’t practise what he preaches about environmental cleanliness on his show Satyamev Jayate.

Social Media Users Condemn Film Team After Video Went Viral
This video went viral, garnering close to 20,000 views. Social media users emphasised the need for stringent checking at film shoot locations to avoid environmental damage, especially in eco-sensitive areas like Ladakh. One user stated, “Preacher only for the screen, real-life hypocrite.” Another netizen wrote This is what happens when you treat movie stars as your God”. While yet another social media user stated they should be fined and strict actions must be taken. Some also asked about the authenticity of this video.
