UAE’s capital- Abu Dhabi has now updated its Al Hosn App. The last update was regarding the AlHosn App status turning green from red. The latest app update is about the extension of the validity of the green pass. The validity took a bounce from 14 days to now up to 30 days. The update will supposedly be active from April 29th 2022.
Abu Dhabi Full Recovery From Pandemic Is The Reason To Allow This Extension
On Friday, Abu Dhabi’s Emergency Crisis and Disasters Committee amended the Emirate’s Covid-19 guidelines. The region has allowed all commercial activity, tourist attractions, and events to resume at full capacity. The authorities also increased the validity of the Al Hosn green permit to 30 days.
Although it applies only to fully immunised residents and citizens. Green passes had previously been valid for 14 days after a negative PCR test result. Face masks will still be mandatory in enclosed settings, according to the report. The enhanced regulations will take effect immediately, according to the authorities. The country’s low number of Covid-19 infections was the reason behind this initiative.

How To Achieve A Prolonged Green Status
You might test positive again after recovery and it’s very normal. Blame the sensitive PCR that detects remains of the virus in the nasal cavity. This has caused difficulties for citizens to turn their status green even being COVID free.
The Al Hosn app tracks and traces contact with Covid-19 cases. But its scope has since expanded to include help for the country’s statewide immunisation campaign.
