If you’re up fro sky high adventure, Abu Dhabi’s Clymb might be an ideal option. The AED 367,000,000 project features unique sporting challenges for fitness enthusiasts. And now, Clymb has added yet another feather to its cap. The Yas Island attraction is recognised with two Guinness World Records. One for the largest indoor skydiving wind tunnel and another for the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall. And that’s not all! Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island will soon be home to a marine life themed park. 

Providing immediate access to Yas Mall and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Clymb boasts a wall which runs up to 43 metres in height. The indoor adventure will have four walls, with varying degrees of difficulty, offering a little something for beginners and professionals. The arena is decked with restaurants, shopping centers and a party zone, so you can chill after a hectic workout. Gravity-defying thrills

The venue also boasts a 10-metre-wide and 54.6-metre-high indoor skydiving wind tunnel. This is also the biggest of its type in the world. Adventure enthusiast enter the tunnel under the guidance of an instructor. All visitors are given a flying suit, safety goggles and a helmet. Guests as young as three years old can participate in the adventure activity, trying some twists and turns mid-air. And those who wish to just watch the show can do so from the viewing platform which is now open at 30% capacity.

The venue follows strict Covid guidelines. This means that guests must make bookings online, undergo thermal checks on arrival and wear face mask at all times – even when on the ropes. And if that’s not enough, The World’s First Warner Bros Hotel Is Coming To The Yas Island.

If going on long strolls is your idea of unwinding then Abu Dhabi might be your favourite new spot. A gorgeous boardwalk amidst a landscape of mangroves is now part of the city. The AED 5 billion Mangrove Walk Project, stretches along the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and is now open to the public.

The new boardwalk, stretching between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, is an initiative to promote eco-tourism in the capital. Apart from the breathtaking backdrop, the site also serves as an ideal spot for family picnics, as well as permit adventure junkies to go kayaking. The new park also boasts a dedicated viewing deck, allowing visitors to soak in the stunning views, click photographs and understand the importance of mangroves in our ecosystem. The mangrove forest is also home to 60,000 species of birds and marine life, protected by the Government.

The Qurum Walkway is open to visitors daily from 8:00 am to 6.30pm, and is FREE to visit for all. The wallboard has three routes, with the longest one extending up to 2 kilometres and the shortest one covering 1 km.
