There are several flights that arrive and depart from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport. It was recently rebranded and it’s home to several retail and food outlets that travellers can check out when they travel from the airport. And now, the airport has been named the Best Airport at Arrivals Globally by the Airports Council International. Here’s all about it.

During the 2023 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, the Airport Council International named Zayed International Airport as the Best Airport at Arrivals globally. It’s worth noting that this year’s result recognised ASQ award winners, as the world’s best airports for the quality of the customer experience. Not to mention, these were selected by passengers who provided feedback in about six lakh surveys.

In fact, in a report by Gulf News, it was also mentioned that the ACI is an organisation of airport authorities. Yes, it is aimed at uniting industry practices for airport standards. So, the ASQ initiative is the airport industry’s sole global benchmarking programme. It is dedicated towards passenger satisfaction during the time and the airport. As it operates across over 400 airports globally, it delivers an in-depth assessment of the quality of customer service experience.

Indian Airports Also Recognised By ACI
However, it’s worth mentioning that not just Abu Dhabi in the UAE, but two airports in India were also given this recognition. With the top 20% overall satisfaction score at arrival, Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore state of India and Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in the Thiruvananthapuram state of India were also awarded this recognition.
