This Sunday was very special for Tamil superstar Dhanush. The actor recently gifted his parents a  ₹150-crore house in Chennai’s Poes Garden. He had a special celebration where he hosted the housewarming ceremony at the new house in Chennai. The ceremony was attended by all his close friends and family members. This house was always a dream for Dhanush, and that makes it more special. Check out some pictures from the ceremony:

Actor Dhanush always wanted to buy a house where he could live with his parents and sons, and the dream has finally come true. There are many pictures from the ceremony that have been posted on various platforms, like Instagram and Twitter. The actor was wearing a blue kurta while his mother wore a pink saree. Dhanush’s father wore a cream mundu with a blue shirt. The house looks pretty with subtle colours used for the interiors. 

Apart from family members, the housewarming ceremony at the ₹150-crore property in Chennai was attended by director Subramaniam Siva, who posted some pictures on social media. He wrote a very sweet caption in Tamil where he referred to Dhanush as his younger brother. He said that walking into the house, he felt like he was in a temple, and he wished Dhanush all the victories and achievements in life.

Bhumi Pujan Was Performed By The Actor And His Ex-Wife

According to a 2021 report by Tamil entertainment channel Valai Pechu, Dhanush’s home is a four-storey structure that is situated on eight grounds or over 19,000 square feet. The structure is estimated to have cost Rs. 150 crores. In 2021, a bhumi pujan was performed at the Poes Garden in Chennai by Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa. Her parents, Rajnikanth and Latha, were also present on this auspicious occasion in February 2021. 

Dhanush and his ex-wife Aishwaryaa announced their separation last year after being married for 18 years. The two got married in 2004 and have two sons named Yatra and Linga. Dhanush is currently filming the Captain Miller movie under the direction of Arun Matheswaran. The actor is also working on a Telugu movie alongside Sekhar Kammula. Although specifics of the spin-off for The Gray Man have not yet been revealed, Dhanush may also appear in it.
