Add This ₹600 Crore Mansion To The List Of Locations That Make Succession Look Like A Travel Show

Succession, if you didn’t know, is the HBO dramedy that has been the talk of the town ever since it debuted in 2018. A power-struggle storyline has kept us intrigued all these years, but there is much more to the show that has had us hooked ever since the first episode aired. From locations that inspired us to take vacations to restaurants that made us drool, it would not be a wrong thought to also list Succession as a travel show, would it? Now that the show is coming to our screens again for the fourth and final season, the trailer had a view that teased the real estate lover in us so much that we are still stuck to it.

As a reminder of the ridiculously rich characters, the trailer showed us an aerial shot of what looked like a mix of a grand mansion and a pirate ship. Truly, the view was so magnificent, it is difficult to put it into words. Next, we could see high glass walls overlooking a gorgeous infinity pool.

While there was no telling whose house it was in the show, we know who it belongs to in real life. According to Architectural Digest, titled “San Onofre estate,” this 18-bathroom magnificence is owned by a tech CEO. Built by real estate developer Ardie Tavangarian in 2020, this mansion was bought by this CEO in his 20s for ₹600 crore.

A Mansion With Spectacular Details

In 2021, the developer Tavangarian joined Architectural Digest for a tour of this house, which is spread across 20,000 sq. ft. of land. The mansion had so much more than what we could see in the trailer. The three siblings, Roman, Kendall, and Shiv, simply sat in the kitchen and talked about their plans to launch their own media company.

It seems unreal how they could indulge in this conversation instead of exploring all that this huge house has to offer. They could have sat in the gorgeously backlit bar room or taken a dip in that stunning pool with an even more stunning view.

We get how occupied the three must be with all the planning that will go into defeating their father, but how could they not go for a relaxing spa in the massage room that can be accessed through a secret door? That surely would have helped them with the mindful execution of their plans.

Watching them simply walk by all the luxury that surrounds them without giving it a second look should not be as surprising now, but we do believe that one of them could have gone to the main suite that has a living room, called ‘pyjama lounge’ by the realtor. They could have taken a steam shower in that onyx-clad bathroom. If they decided to spend the night in that suite with a fireplace, they could have stargazed through the ceiling that retracts like a sunroof.

If you were short of reasons to watch Succession season 4, it looks like you’ve got a big one now!
