This has to be one of the top adventure sports to do when you are in the Northeast. The great Brahmaputra river gushes through Assam and Arunachal Pradesh with many tributaries here and there. These places become a hotspot for people who love to do White Water Rafting and enjoy the scenery as well. The water of Brahmaputra is very forceful but you do not have to worry because professionals will accompany you.

2. Mountain Cycling

We all have cycled on the roads but have you had the chance to cycle your way on a rocky terrain? The pretty rocky terrains of the northeast make it a rather thrilling experience. There are many biking trails and we would suggest you choose the easy one. These might not be too steep or rocky for you. You will be able to enjoy the picturesque scenes of the river flowing and the pristine lush green all around. Be careful and wear helmets, and elbow and knee pads for extra protection.

It doesn’t have to be snow-covered regions, you can even opt for places with no snowfall. If you have ever had the chance to go mountain climbing then this will bring back so many memories. Generally, skiing is done from higher points of elevation like 11,000 ft. and the thrill that comes with this adventure sport is immaculate.
