Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurant Baan Phadthai Opens In Hyderabad

Following its success in Bengaluru, Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant Baan Phadthai is now in Hyderabad at Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City, Hitech City. The restaurant was founded in Bangkok in 2016 by Frédéric Meyer and has been featured in the Michelin Guide Bangkok’s Bib Gourmand list every year since 2018.
The restaurant is known for its signature Phad Thai, which is prepared with premium rice noodles and an exclusive 18-ingredient sauce, apart from a curated menu that showcases regional Thai flavours. The 64-seater restaurant takes you to the backstreets of Bangkok. The interiors draw inspiration from the old shophouses of Bangkok and neighbourhood markets. The restaurant has deep blue walls punctuated by vivid orange accents, an aesthetic of the Baan Phadthai brand.

What’s On The Menu?
Foodies in Hyderabad now have a new destination to indulge in some amazing Thai food. The Baan Phadthai outlet in the city introduces eight dishes exclusive to Hyderabad. These include Yum Makuer (Thai eggplant salad), Gai Yang Vichianburi (Esaan-style char-grilled chicken), and a selection of new rice sets featuring classic Thai curries and stir-fries.
The starters include Gai Tawt (brined and fried chicken wings with homemade sriracha and tamarind naam jim), Poh Pia Tawt (crisp spring rolls with shiitake mushrooms and glass noodles) and Satay. Even vegetarians will have plenty of dishes to choose from on the menu.
Complementing the food menu is a thoughtfully curated drinks list that brings Thai flavours to the glass. Diners can expect five inventive creations, each showcasing a distinct corner of Thai taste such as Jeed Jaad, Milo Dino, Som Tum, Cha Cha and Prik Gleua. There will also be Cha Yen (Thai tea with milk) and Cha Manao (Thai lime iced tea) for people who prefer timeless classics.
