Indian PM In Guyana After 56 Years
At Georgetown, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted ceremoniously and given a guard of honour during his first visit to Guyana in 56 years. PM Modi was greeted by Guyana President Mohamed Irfaan Ali, and the two leaders were given a bouquet of flowers by dignitaries.

People can also try curry, roti, and dhal puri and pay a visit to one of the world’s highest wooden structures, St. George’s Cathedral. Savour Guyanese food like dhal puri, curry, and roti. One of the highest single-drop waterfalls in the world, Kaieteur Falls is a sight to behold. To get there, hike through a rainforest, where you can observe jaguars, golden frogs, squirrel monkeys, and scarlet macaws.
