In a bid to extend a warm embrace to visitors, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in collaboration with ‘Brand Dubai’ has unveiled a special #EidInDubai stamp. This stamp serves not only as a symbol of hospitality but also as a beacon of celebration, inviting guests from far and wide to immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant culture and festivities during Eid.

A Stamp of Celebration Of Eid Al Fitr In Dubai

Dubai’s streets come alive with the jubilant spirit of Eid, greeting visitors with open arms and an array of festivities. Over the past 12 months leading up to Wednesday, April 10, 2024, the first day of Eid, more than half a million children have gleefully stamped their own passports upon arrival in Dubai. Each stamp represents a unique entry into the city’s diverse tapestry of cultures and traditions, marking the beginning of memorable experiences for these young travellers.

Kiddie Lane During #EidInDubai: Where Fun Meets Formality

Dubai Airport’s innovative ‘kiddie lane’ initiative has revolutionized the travel experience for young adventurers aged between 4 and 12. Empowered with the opportunity to personally stamp their passports, these children embark on their journey with a sense of excitement and responsibility. The ‘kiddie lane’ not only streamlines the immigration process but also adds a touch of whimsy and empowerment to the travel experience, making it memorable for both children and their accompanying adults.

On the inaugural day of Eid Al Fitr, Lt. Gen. Al Marri, the Director-General of GDRFA, undertook his routine oversight visits to ensure the seamless functioning and preparedness of business operations. Several senior officers and officials from the airports sector, Lt. Gen. Al Marri meticulously inspected the arrivals and departures halls across Terminals No. 1, 2, and 3 at Dubai International Airport. His presence underscored the commitment of GDRFA to uphold the highest standards of service and efficiency, especially during festive occasions when the influx of visitors is at its peak.
