These additional flights are strategically timed to offer passengers greater choice and ease. They align well with Air India’s existing flight schedules, facilitating smooth connections through its major hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. This connectivity ensures that passengers can conveniently travel to Kolkata while also making seamless connections to various international destinations, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia.

Air India’s decision to enhance services comes in response to the increased travel demand during one of Kolkata’s most significant cultural celebrations. Durga Puja, a festival dedicated to the goddess Durga, attracts a large number of people to the city. By increasing the number of flights, Air India aims to support travellers who wish to celebrate with their families and participate in the festivities.

Bookings for the newly added flights are available through all of Air India’s booking channels, including its website, mobile app, and travel agents. This ensures that passengers have ample opportunities to secure their travel arrangements well in advance of the festival.
