Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new campus of Boeing in Bengaluru on January 19. He will visit the Karnataka capital on Friday to attend the grand event at Devanahalli. Ahead of his visit to the city, the Bengaluru traffic police have already issued a traffic advisory and mentioned all the details and restrictions, alternative routes, and more details on the same.

Vehicular movement on some roads has been restricted temporarily given PM Modi’s visit to the city. The new changes in traffic movement have been announced in the limits of Devanahalli Traffic Police Station. Limitations according to the advisory have been imposed starting at 8 AM till 6 PM. Arrangements have been made and the advisory has been released so that commuters do not face inconveniences due to the affected or alternative routes.

According to the recently released traffic advisory, there are temporary restrictions on these roads. These are the affected roads in the city:

  • Airlines Dhaba (National Highway 648) to Budigere
  • Bagaluru to Airport
  • Chikkajala Kote Main Road to Airport
  • Gollahalli Gate to Hunachuru (KIADB Industrial Area)
  • Hennuru-Bagaluru Main Road to Airport Road

Here Are The Suggested Alternate Routes:

The police advised some alternates and suggested different routes to avoid the affected roads and continue the journeys. These are the alternate roads to take note of:

  • For the traffic transporting from Whitefield K.R.Puram via Bagaluru Industrial Area towards the Airport, this is the alternate route.
    Gollahalli Gate – then right turn – Bettakote – Airlines Daba – left turn – Devanahalli town – then left turn – B.B.Road – Airport Toll – Airport entry – Airport
  • For vehicles that are moving from the Airlines Dhaba to the Airport via the KIADB Industrial Area, this is the alternative route.
    Airlines Daba – then left turn – Devanahalli town – then left turn – B.B.Road – Airport Toll – Airport entry – Airport
  • The alternate route for vehicles moving from Hennuru-Bagaluru Main Road and going towards the KIAL Airport via Mylanahalli is:
    Bagaluru Gundappa Circle – then left turn – Reva College junction – Bagaluru cross – then right turn- B. B. Road – Chikkajala – Sadahalli toll – KIAL Airport flyover entry – Airport
  • Also, for the vehicles transporting from Chikkajala Kote Main Road to the KIAL Airport via Galamma Circle, the suggested route is:
    Chikkajala village – B. B. road – Sadahalli gate – Sadahalli toll – Airport Flyover entry – KIAL airport
  • The last alternative route is for vehicles travelling from the Bagaluru village towards the KIAL Airport via Galamma Circle.
    Bagaluru Colony Left Turn Razak palya – MVIT College – Chikkajala Right Turn – Bengaluru – Bellary road – Sadahalli toll – KIAL Airport flyover entry – Airport

The Bengaluru traffic police also requested the commuters travelling to the Bengaluru airport to use the Bengaluru-Bellaru road compulsorily.
