The worst part of travelling by air or by any other medium is the delay! Everyone hates it when the flights get delayed, and not knowing the reason for the delay makes it worse. Something similar happened with passengers at Bangalore airport. About 100 passengers were stranded as the Air India Bangalore-Mumbai flight got delayed by 10 hours. Many waited at the departure gates for hours.
Air India BLR-Mum Flight Delayed By 10 Hours
About 100 passengers,especially senior citizens, on an Air India flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai experienced complete distress. They experienced a 10-hour delay at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA).
Unease grew among the passengers as they had to wait close to the departure gates without knowing the precise reason for the delay.
Flight AI 610 eventually departed Bengaluru in the early hours of Monday after initially leaving on Sunday night. Just before takeoff, the airline personnel allegedly discovered a mechanical problem with the aircraft, but they did not inform the passengers about the same. This created confusion and commotion at the departure gates.

Airline Did Not Mention The Reason
It is claimed that the initial technical issue with the aircraft was fixed; however, because the staff member in charge of the flight had finished their shift, updates to the passengers were delayed.
The situation worsened as a result of the replacement staff’s own delays, leaving the passengers without any official guidance or support.
While the remaining passengers were granted accommodations until the Air India flight was available for boarding on Monday morning. The airline accommodated some impacted passengers on an alternate flight to Mumbai on Sunday night.
The airline ground staff failed to give passengers clear updates throughout the whole wait, keeping them in the dark regarding the causes of the delay and the anticipated departure time. The flight finally departed on Monday at 5:30 a.m.
