This brand-new arrangement brings the option to book a single itinerary spanning both airlines. In a simpler way, passengers can easily complete their booking procedures on both airlines because of this new interline agreement. The common website does the job of booking a unified itinerary using a single PNR on different platforms. This arrangement lets users make bookings using a PNR on platforms such as the common website airindiaexpress.com, Online Travel Agents, and Travel Partners.

To explain it further, the airlines used the example of the Lucknow – Delhi – Sharjah in a press release. If a passenger has plans to fly to a destination with such connecting routes, they can book the itinerary with a single PNR only and get the boarding passes for Lucknow to Delhi and Delhi to Sharjah right during the start of their airport journey. An important point to note here is that passengers can only get the boarding pass in the beginning. They need to do customs and immigration formalities in Lucknow and then again in Delhi.

AirAsia India and Air India Express have a fleet of 54 aircraft. They have a connection of 44 destinations. They provide flight services to more than 250 domestic routes. In global connection, they have Middle East and Southeast Asia.
