Traveling has become a distant dream for many,  ever since the pandemic took over. But, wait- this isn’t the case for people in Abu Dhabi. While rigid covid rules are in place in the capital city, residents in Abu Dhabi can now get a taste of boarding a flight and experiencing flight food. How, you ask? Transit Terminal Food, a new restaurant in the city is dedicated to all things aviation and we can’t wait to try it. Read on to know more about the journey!

Binge On Delicacies From Over 30 Countries In An Airplane Setting

Nestled away in Defence Street, Transit Terminal Food will take diners on a journey to nowhere. And, the highlight of the place is that you will get to dine in an Airbus A380 and also taste flight food. As for the interiors, expect all things airplane- right from the seating to table trays and even cabin announcements.

What’s On The Menu?

Firstly, the menu card is designed to look like a boarding card. On the menu card you will find the name of the dish addressed as ‘Flight’ and the ‘Destination’ the dish originates from. Ain’t that cool?

Moving over to the menu, foodies can binge on everything from burgers to waffles, quesadillas, shrimp baguette, currywurst  and much more. In a nutshell, the menu has a little something from more than 30 countries, serving you delicacies from every corner of the world.

The dishes are served by waiters dressed in typical cabin crew uniforms, making the experience even more authentic. To make it even more authentic, the menu changes monthly and a new destination is added each month.
