Domestic Airlines To Sell Tickets From 1st June

After the extension of the nationwide lockdown, all commercial flights have been suspended till 31st May, 2020. Though the government has made no announcement on when the airlines can finally resume their services, a few carriers have already started taking flight bookings from 1st June. Also, they have kept the ticket rates reasonable. Read on to know the details.

What’s Happening?

Airlines like Vistara, IndiGo and SpiceJet have started selling tickets for the post lockdown period. SpiceJet is, however, not taking any international bookings until 15th June.

Previously, for flights cancelled during the lockdown, the airlines had issued a ‘credit shell’ for each PNR number. They had topped up the credit shells with the ticket amounts, urging customers to use them for booking flights later.
