The world is unlocking slowly, after Dubai permitting wedding receptions with up to 200 guests, Ajman to has updated its rules. Weddings and social gatherings in compliance with safety measures can now be held in Ajman. After a month-long ban, the emirate’s Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team on Sunday announced the new guidelines.

The Guest Count For Weddings Should Not Exceed To More Than 200
For updated rules, social events in halls, hotels and homes can be held while following all the safety protocols. Guests have to wear face masks and maintain physical distancing at the event. For weddings, the guest list must not exceed the count of 200. And each table should only have five people. In terms of social gatherings at home, not more than 50 people can attend the gathering at once.

Maj Gen Sheikh Sultan Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of Ajman Police and Head of the Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Team, said the ban is lifted to allow people to celebrate joyful events together. He further said that people still have to abide by the safety advice and protect themselves and others from the covid-19 pandemic.
Ras Al Khaimah Updates Rules For Restaurant Workers And Veterinary Centres
Well, Ajman is not only the place to ease the lockdown rules. Last week, Sharjah too updated wedding and social gatherings rules. The directive was issued by the Sharjah Executive Council. Official guidelines are due to be announced by the emirate’s Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management.

Besides this, Ras Al Khaimah has updated rules for restaurant workers. Employees working at cafes and restaurants in RAK will now have to take a mandatory covid-19 test every 14 days. Not only the eatery owners but workers working at the veterinary centres will also have to take the coronavirus test every two weeks.
