American Woman Lists 5 Crazy Things About Living In India; Netizens Say, “On Point”

An American woman, Macy Gonsalvez, recently uploaded a video talking about five things she finds absolutely “crazy” about living in India, ranging from fast deliveries to late-night plans. Her video has gone viral online, and netizens couldn’t stop themselves from sharing their opinions. Keep reading to know all five things she talked about.

Moving to a new country is not a walk in the park. It definitely comes with many culture shocks that one has to adjust to. Though some changes might be welcome, some things can be quite surprising too. This is what happened with American content creator Macy Gonsalvez after she moved to India. She uploaded a video on Instagram listing the things she finds “absolutely crazy as an American living in India.”

She started off with the number one thing, which is that a pregnant woman legally cannot find out the gender of her baby until the baby is born. For Macy, the second thing was late-night plans. She said, “If you want to hang out with somebody, it is not happening before 8:30-9 pm.” Macy also added that it was a major adjustment for her, as she likes to be in bed by 9:30 pm.

Water Heater, Fast Deliveries & More 

The list did not end here. The third thing she found crazy about living in India was water heaters. Switching them on 10-15 minutes before getting hot water for a shower was something she was not used to back home. The fourth thing was fast deliveries in India. Macy was quite surprised that one could get groceries or anything one needed in just 10-15 minutes. The last thing she mentioned was affordable household help, which she thinks is the best thing about India.

Netizens could not stop themselves from commenting under the post, and many users even asked for a part two of the video. One user wrote, “As an indian living in the US, I’m missing these things,” while another user commented, “Ha Ha Ha on point.”
