The American fast food chain is coming to the United Arab Emirates with its first restaurant opening in Dubai. This October, indulge in Mexican flavours. Chipotle is expanding through franchising in the Middle East in collaboration with Alshaya Group. In fact, the first location will open in Kuwait in May. In all, four restaurants are scheduled to operate in the United Arab Emirates by 2024.
According to John Hadden, CEO of Alshaya Group, customers have been waiting impatiently for Chipotle to open in the Middle East. And they have received a positive response so far and they will provide the same delectable dining experience that visitors have enjoyed at their U.S. restaurants. The restaurant was born out of an unconventional belief that there is a connection between the quality and flavour of food and its farming and preparation.

The menu at Chipotle offers Mexican dishes like Burritos, Tacos and more. You can even try the Quesadilla, made with cheese in a tortilla with your choice of meat, sofritas or fajita veggies. They offer a Burrito Bowl, served with rice, beans, or fajita veggies and your choice of meat. Don’t forget to choose toppings including guac, salsa, queso blanco, sour cream or cheese.
Earlier, the restaurant announced that it would give away 100,000 free burrito e-cards to healthcare personnel in appreciation of their job. The company has provided healthcare professionals with more than $5 million in complimentary Chipotle meals over the previous few years.
Chipotle will match 10% of the purchase of certain Healthcare Heroes E-Gift Cards in support of its 2024 campaign. To achieve a healthy world through the power of nursing, the American Nurses Foundation is the philanthropic and charity arm of the American Nurses Association.
