Not The Only Restaurant To Be Closed By ADAFSA

It’s not surprising that a restaurant has been shut down in Abu Dhabi for not following the rules set in place by the ADAFSA. Yes, the authority has shut down several other restaurants, as they follow practices that pose a significant risk to public health. Yes, quite recently Desi Pak Punjab Restaurant in Abu Dhabi had also been shut down for violations of such laws.

There was the presence of insects in areas where food was being prepared, which led to contamination and the possibility of foodborne illnesses being spread. These instances show that ADAFSA is committed towards food safety. Just the previous year, the authority conducted more than 1,03,000 inspection visits to several food establishments. Demonstrating that it is committed to the cause, inspections are an important part of identifying and addressing the issue before it impacts public health.

As it happens, the authorities have urged people to share about such restaurants that follow malpractices on toll-free numbers so that they can look into the same.
