A takeaway place in Buckinghamshire in England that serves Indian and Bangladeshi food has received an abysmally low rating for hygiene. It is important for an eatery or any kind of food establishment to ensure that the basic protocols of hygiene are followed. It is also why food regulatory bodies have been put into place. They ensure that only those food eateries that are following protocols and providing healthy and safe food continue.

Recently, in the Buckinghamshire region of England, an eatery received what is considered the lowest possible rating for food hygiene. It managed to receive 0 on a scale of five. According to an article recently published by Yahoo, several aspects of the food establishment named Curry Gardens were found to be lacking.

From preparation of food to handling, packaging, and even storage facilities were found to be extremely lacking. It even needed improvements in its infrastructure especially when it came to ventilation in the building as well as pest control.

Other Establishments In The Area Have Fared Better

The article mentions that other restaurants and food establishments located in the vicinity have fared significantly better, so it is not because the standards of evaluation were set too high. The article mentions that only 0.1 per cent of the food establishments have received a 0 rating.

The majority of the restaurants in the area have received the highest rating. Close to 68.7 per cent of the establishments have received a rating of 5. In order to ensure public health, it is imperative that the officials of Curry Garden take immediate action.
