An elderly woman from Pennsylvania has managed to win hearts on the Internet by posting an endearing picture of her across the window, asking for more beer.
The Elderly Woman Ran Out Of Her Beer Supply
Olive Veronesi of Seminole was close to finishing off her beer stock during her time in quarantine. A daily consumer of beer, she had no option to go out and buy more.
Fearing she wouldn’t be able to restock her supply, the 93-year-old decided to make an appeal. She urged a relative to photograph her, holding a write and erase board, which read, I NEED MORE BEER!!
Standing in front of her window, holding a beer can in one hand and the appeal in other, Olive’s photo went viral on the Internet. Hell, the woman even hinted at the brew she liked most – Coors Light.

A media channel, KDKA TV, posted the photo on their Facebook page, which garnered over 5 million views. Speaking to the channel, Olive said, “I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it”.

Coors Definitely Knows How To Keep Its Customers Happy
The photo of Veronesi blew up on social media. A business reporter then tagged Coors Light on Olive’s news, and the company just knew what it had to do. They came through with 150 cans of Coors Light, enough to last her another five months in quarantine.

The official handle of Coors wrote, “Olive asked and beer is on its way!” And in another one, “We came. We saw. We delivered to a friend in need. Cheers, Olive!”
Mark Linder of Molson Coors told KDKA TV that they “made sure Olive got her beer so she can continue her healthy regimen of a Coors light a day.”
These are definitely good times brewing for Olivia!
