Industrialist Anand Mahindra was in total awe when he saw a video by Kerala tourism, so much so that he posted it on his Twitter account. The video by Kerala tourism featured ‘En Ooru’ which is a tribal hamlet located in Vythiri in Kerala’s Wayanad district. The short video with some lovely tribal music in the background takes us into the beauty of tribal life and its craftsmanship. The video spoke about how stunning simplicity can be. Anand Mahindra could not resist but posted this stunningly beautiful mimic hamlet on his Twitter with a caption praising Kerala tourism.

En Ooru – A Tribal Village In Kerala
In order to introduce people to the culture and way of life of various communities in the state, the Kerala government has opened the “En Ooru” tribal heritage village. The 25-acre tourist attraction, which resembles a tribal town, contains an amphitheater, a marketplace, and a cafeteria that offers regional specialties. An IAS officer based in Kerala, Prasanth Nair, commented on Mahindra’s post informing about it being a tribal welfare project which is curated and seed-funded by the Scheduled Tribes Development Department. Many Twitter users reacted to the beauty of the place and lauded the government.
